NOTICE!!! POTENTIAL NITRATES in WATER SYSTEM starting June 12th
Tooley Water District is planning to turn on the lower well on June 12th and keep this well running through October.
This well (the lower well) has a history of fluctuating nitrates levels, often at levels far exceeding the allowed MCL (Maximum Contaminant Level).
Tooley Water District is doing this because history has shown that our only other well can not keep up with demand during summer months.
Tooley Water District members will receive door flyers on June 12th (before turning on the well) explaining more details about the risks of nitrates.
